This position is an opportunity to join our fast-growing company as a Data Quality Engineer who will be responsible for designing, developing, documenting, and performing data quality checks across all data assets in support of Aspen RxHealth’s Enterprise Data Management strategy.

General Accountabilities

  • Formulate tests (rule-based, pattern-based, etc.) and write code to discover, implement, execute, maintain, and automate those tests
  • Analyze and profile feeds and/or pipelines to an S3-based data lake to ensure data are complete, valid, and meet expectations
  • Create alert mechanisms for system issues, data quality issues, data receipt, and completeness based on expected parameters (e.g., schedules, quantities, etc.)
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Developers to ensure high-quality, accurate data assets are consistently available across the organization
  • Validate data in data repositories and analytical systems against source systems
  • Contribute to the growth of the organization’s data quality and governance standards through knowledge sharing and lessons learned, continually improving best practices, and contributing to methods to systematically advance Aspen RxHealth’s data platform and capabilities
  • Perform tasks spanning the full lifecycle of data management activities with minimal supervision
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications/Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related fields with 2+ years of experience working with enterprise data management systems in high-compliance contexts;

OR

  • 3-5+ years of proven experience in Quality Engineering or Data Engineering roles with enterprise data management systems in high-compliance contexts
  • Experience in collaborating with Product teams, Data Science / Analytics teams, Developers, and Data Engineers to elicit, document, compose, and translate business requirements into data requirements while contributing to a unified, high-availability system architecture
  • Working experience developing data analysis, data quality assurance, and automation processes in Python
  • Direct experience with cloud/AWS database services such as Amazon RDS, DynamoDB, Redshift, Glue ETL, managed Airflow, Lambda, Data Migration Service, or their cross-platform equivalents
  • Competency in data quality best practices, data lake design, ETL and ELT methodologies along with strong technical documentation practices
  • Demonstrated skill in navigating data ecosystems (data warehouses, data lakes, structured and unstructured data, file types, BI systems) and familiarity with associated principles
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Cloud Data Engineer

Job Summary
Reporting to the Manager of Cloud Engineering, the candidate will be tasked to design, implement, operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and manage Aspen’s cloud data solutions in support of enterprise analytics and integration goals.

Responsibilities
Responsible for implementing and managing Aspen’s cloud data analytics solutions with optimal performance, scalability, and availability; As well as enforcing company data-related policies and Enterprise Data Management strategy, utilizing best practices of overall data processing for analytics and reporting systems.

  • Examples of projects and tasks:
    • Evaluate requirements, and recommend technology combination to implement raw data ingest to an S3 based data lake sourced from multiple, SQL instances
    • Codify ELT pipelines implementing the decided technical strategy
    • Configure orchestration to monitor data pipelines and associated automation for health, and alert on issue
    • Derive a data set to spec, create, automate and manage data pipelines/exports to support data reporting and/or third-party integrations and processes for that data
    • Polyglot persistence design and implementation to support enterprise analytics initiatives and BI/reporting products
    • Provide production support for Data Lake ingest and derived services, while maintaining a non-production environment suitable for cross-function analytics development
    • Evaluate and recommend changes to new database platforms/services (capability, performance, scalability, sizing & pricing, etc.) as new services and opportunities become available on the AWS platform
    • Developing functional Python code to implement a complex logical matching algorithm, first as a batch job, then evolving into a streaming API
  • Serves as a member of Aspen’s Operation Response team with potential off-hour responsibilities or other responsibilities as assigned.:
    • Existing or new: databases, tables, stored procedures, views, triggers, indexing, scheduled tasks, maintenance plans, and so on
    • Review, test, approval, documentation, and execution of changes
    • Database-driven configuration and content updates
    • Deployment, updates, and migration
  • Examples of projects and tasks:
    • Document and review current database solutions on AWS to identify gaps and improvement needs
    • Evaluate and recommend changes or new database platforms/services (capability, performance, scalability, HA capability, sizing & pricing etc.)
    • Plan, test and carry out database implementation or changes including migration
    • Monitor availability, health, and issues of database services, be notified and respond to alerts
    • Multi-tenant databases and processes to support onboarding and implementation of new customers at scale
    • Assemble data sets, create, automate, and manage data pipelines/exports to support data reporting/analytic tools and processes
    • Data Warehousing/Data Lake’s design and implementation to support data reporting/analytic initiatives and BI platforms & tools
    • Backup and recovery for business continuity, as well as test runs, documentation, and validation
  • Serves as a member of the Aspen RxHealth Operation Response team with potential off-hour responsibilities or other responsibilities as assigned.

Job Qualifications/Skills

  • Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science/information science/engineering or related fields preferred
    • 3+ years of professional working experience with cloud/AWS database services in a database engineer or data engineer role.
    • 5+ years of professional working experience with data and databases, in an analytic, operational, or development role.
  • Experienced in research, qualification, and migration or implementation of the most appropriate database services/platform options according to the specified use case.
  • Skills and Expertise
    • General competency with Relational and non-Relational database engines
    • Working experience with Cloud services such as Amazon RDS, DynamoDB, Redshift, Glue ETL, managed Airflow, Lambda, Data Migration Service, or their cross-platform equivalents
    • General competency with AWS Analytics tools such as Elastic Map-Reduce, Glue PySpark, Athena, QuickSight, SageMaker, Redshift, etc
    • Working experience developing data movement, data transformation, API integration, or automation processes in Python
    • Structured data warehousing and/or unstructured data lake architecture exposure, and familiarity with best practices for developing and managing related infrastructure
    • Comfortable codifying data transformations utilizing Python, dbt, or similar, to create and manage data sets driving tier 3 analytic solutions
    • Software development life cycle support of the database, data, and analytic services components, processes, and related enterprise initiatives

Operations Specialist – Part-time

Job Summary:
This position is part-time – Tues.-Thurs. 2 pm to 8 pm EST, 2 hours on Sat.

This position is an opportunity to join a leading-edge company in a pivotal communication role, connecting patients with the Aspen RxHealth Pharmacist Community. As the primary point of contact for inbound calls, the Operations Specialist will connect patients to pharmacist services that will improve their medication experience and overall health. This role will also be instrumental to ensuring the quality and compliance of written communication provided to patients.

• Answers incoming calls from patients and triages to pharmacist community
• Reviews prescription SIGs entered by pharmacists for correct formatting

• Acts as the primary point of contact for the translation company

Sales Development Specialist

Job Summary:
The Sales Development Specialist will support marketing and sales efforts and drive new business revenue. Your primary role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting, developing relationships, and generating demand with potential customers acting as an extender to existing marketing strategies. Additional responsibilities include supporting existing sales and marketing efforts by providing opportunity analysis and sales support for Senior Leadership.
To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns, performing prospect research, developing demand generation strategies, and meeting or exceeding sales quotas. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships and sales activities with customers, from first contact until contracting boosting sales, and contributing to our long-term revenue goals

Job Qualifications/Skills
• Bachelor’s degree or greater in related field
• Clinical and healthcare relevance. A clinical degree is not required, but you must be able to demonstrate a comprehension of the healthcare market, trends, and at-risk models.
• Experience working with Government Health Plans is a plus. Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and Medicaid.

Experience Requirements
• 1+ years of proven experience in sales, lead generation, business development, and quota-based role.
• Demonstrable experience with outbound demand generation including cold calls, digital campaigns, social media management, and use of marketing stack tools (I.e. Salesforce, HubSpot, Pardot, Salesloft, etc.)
• Training and/or certification in recognized sales process methodologies (Miller Heiman, Value Selling, Challenger sales)

• Prospect, qualify and develop leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities.

Job Qualifications/Skills
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a full-cycle recruiter.
• Previous experience interviewing and assessing potential hires for technology positions and assisting with onboarding processes
• Thorough understanding of technology, technical roles, and technical skills.
• Firm understanding and implementation of recruiting metrics to drive decision-making is strongly preferred
• Previous experience developing and executing recruiting marketing and branding strategies
