This position is an opportunity to join a leading-edge company in a pivotal leadership role, leading the strategy of recruiting pharmacists into the Aspen RxHealth Pharmacist Community as independent contractors and engaging pharmacists to deliver clinical services through the innovative Aspen RxHealth gig economy model.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to recruit, activate, and engage pharmacists in the Aspen RxHealth Pharmacist Community
  • Build and lead Pharmacist Community, balancing supply side economics to meet customer demand
  • Manage relationships with key pharmacist associations and trade organizations
  • Develop and manage training, coaching, and mentoring programs for Aspen RxHealth pharmacists
  • Influence product design from a pharmacy practice perspective
  • Implement strategies to enhance the pharmacist experience of delivering services for Aspen RxHealth
  • Represent Aspen RxHealth as a thought leader in clinical pharmacist services
  • Serve as a leading voice to the Pharmacist Community via social media channels, educational webinars, and informational Town Hall sessions
  • Partner with Marketing team to develop and execute communication strategy to recruit, activate, and engage pharmacists
  • Lead team of Pharmacist Community Managers, who:
    • Organize and engage Aspen RxHealth pharmacists to ensure delivery of services to meet contractual obligations
    • Ensure pharmacist services are delivered to meet quality standards and provide recommendations to improve quality
    • Provide recommendations to pharmacists related to clinical services such as MTM
    • Provide coaching and support to Aspen pharmacists to enable successful service delivery
    • Engage community of pharmacists, eliciting input and feedback regarding their experience
    • Provide recommendations to support efficient service delivery, improve platform performance, and enhance the pharmacist experience
    • Partner with Marketing team to develop content and plans for communication to
    pharmacists, including email messaging, social media posts, and webinars • Recruit and on-board pharmacists into the Aspen RxHealth Community
    • Provide patient-related customer service when needed
    • Deliver patient-care opportunities when needed
    • Support quality monitoring and performance improvement of overall Aspen RxHealth system

Job Qualifications/Skills :

  • Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited college/university
  • 10+ years health plan or pharmacy leadership experience required, managing teams of clinical pharmacists preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of pharmacy quality measures and MTM program requirements
  • Management experience in sales, training or developmental coaching preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in technology, apps, and social media
