Briefly describe the professional journey that led you to Aspen RxHealth. After gradating from the University of Florida (GO GATORS!) with a Computer Engineering degree, I worked several years as a Software Engineer; before taking the step into management. With over 21 years of experience, my goal at Aspen is to identify and implement changes to increase the transparency, efficiency, and quality of engineering deliverables, and align technology strategy with product and sales initiatives.
Which famous quote would you pick to describe your personal business philosophy?
“Perfect is the enemy of progress”. While we must strive to get the best product to market, trying to achieve a “perfect” product often leads to stagnation. The goal should be progress through incremental continuous improvements, which allows us to learn from mistakes early and ultimately lead to greater success.
What’s one value you try to bring into your work every day?
Openness. Being open to new ideas that challenge the current way we do things leads to advancements in our products and processes. Collaboration and health conflict are key factors for any successful team.
