Asked Questions

You start the onboarding process at https://community.aspenrxhealth.com. This will include claiming your profile from Pharmacy Profiles (www.pharmacyprofiles.com), completing training, going through a credentialing process and setting up a payment account.

 

At Aspen RxHealth, we match pharmacists by state licensure, clinical credentials, geography and other criteria. We add pharmacists in the areas of need, and further build out the community as new opportunities arise. If we do not have opportunities in the areas where you are licensed, we will keep your name on file and contact you when we have opportunities in your area. We add pharmacists based on when they request to join, so if you’re interested in being part of the Aspen RxHealth Community, we encourage you to sign up now.

 

There is a one-time, $75 credentialing fee, to join the Aspen RxHealth Community. We believe in treating our pharmacists like providers, removing the barrier of traditional payment methods, and allowing our community to go direct-to-member and be financially incentivized for the individual services provided. The one-time, non-refundable fee covers the cost of your background check and includes application user set-up, access to ongoing training opportunities, a social media network of over a thousand clinical pharmacists and growing by the day, as well as mentoring programs from the industry leaders. Your fee will not be collected until we know we have opportunities in your area.

There are no additional fees once you are registered as a part of the community.

Aspen RxHealth is the first – and only – to give Pharmacists the power to deliver clinical care as a Provider. How you build your practice is entirely up to you. Just like other gig economy solutions (e.g. Uber and Lyft), the more you work and are able to successfully contact patients and deliver services, the more you will make. Our pharmacists have enjoyed the freedom and flexibility of building their own practice, on their own terms. Unlike traditional models – including brick and mortar or retail environments, our Pharmacist Community practices with the freedom that is expected of a healthcare provider.
Aspen RxHealth offers all types of pharmacist clinical services, including Comprehensive Medication Reviews offered by health plans to Medicare beneficiaries via MTM (Medication Therapy Management) programs. Once signed up, you will see opportunities matched to you and your preferences that you can grab and deliver. Pharmacists are only responsible for delivering clinical services during patient calls, with the exception of important clinical matters where a call to the prescriber, pharmacy, or other provider may be needed to complete the consultation. Aspen RxHealth will fax your final prescriber recommendations and/or will mail the medication list and action plan to the patient.

All calls and services are performed through the Aspen RxHealth app. The app allows you to easily match with patient opportunities based on your profile and preferences. The short answer? Anywhere in the Continental United States! We do not define your workspace, however, we expect all HIPAA privacy rules to be followed. Additionally, all services are recorded and monitored for quality assurance. Quality scores will impact your future matching opportunities, and to achieve the highest quality, we always recommend a private space with little to no background noise.
